We're excited to introduce our desktop-class Safari extension for 1Password members using iOS 15 and iPadOS 15! Everything you love from 1Password in the browser is here, including suggestions directly in the page, its AI-powered filling brain with automatic filling across multiple pages, integration with third-party services, and the popover to access all of your items.
Here's a taste of what's now possible in the browser on both iPhone and iPad:
Get contextual inline filling suggestions as you browse the mobile web
Fill logins, credit cards, identities, email addresses, and addresses
Automatically fill credentials across multiple pages
AutoFill two-factor authentication codes
Scan QR codes for easy setup of two-factor authentication
See Watchtower recommendations for vulnerable logins, passwords that need to be changed, and more
Create one-tap logins with Smart Passwords that meet the requirements of the page
Save logins and credit cards to 1Password straight from the page
Fill and save virtual credit cards with Privacy.com
Of course, 1Password for Safari integrates fully with 1Password for iOS, sharing account data and settings. And it integrates with your device, so you can unlock with Face ID or Touch ID directly from the browser.
Another great feature now available for 1Password members on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 is the ability to use a security key with Lightning, USB-C, or NFC as a second factor when authorizing your 1Password account on a device.
As 1Password continues to evolve on iOS we’ve been given new opportunities to take advantage of additions to the operating system that fulfill some of the functionality originally provided by our action extension. Greetings, everyone! Today’s update is all about organizing and sharing your 1Password items. Of note, you’ll find new features for sorting in the item list, a brand new way of tagging your items, and you can now easily share links to shared items in your account!
Get your items in order
The item list in 1Password has learned a few new tricks! It can now be sorted by category, website, date modified, date created, and date you last used the item - and in either direction! Of course, if you prefer to sort the list by title, you can still do that too.
Get your items organized
Organizing your items with tags has never been easier! While viewing an item, tap on the “Add Tag” button to unveil the all new tag editor. It’s now much easier to apply new and existing tags to your item, all without having to edit it first.
Get your items to the right person
Helping your teammates and family members to find items in vaults shared with them is now much easier. When viewing an item tap “Share Link” to share a link with your family members or co-workers. Don’t worry, this sends only a link and does not send sensitive data. The recipient can simply use the link to open 1Password and display the item!
Wrapping It Up
Along with these major new features we’ve also included improvements and bug fixes to keep things running smoothly. We hope you love this update as much as we’ve loved making it. Thank you to all our customers for your support and your feedback. I know we say it often, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

It’s our favorite time of year again, folks: iOS update season! We here at 1Password HQ loved the Apple Event last week where we got news of new iPhone models, an updated iPad, an all-new Apple Watch, and more. Ever since Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in June we’ve been toiling away on a fantastic batch of improvements we know you’re going to love. If you’re a “just the facts” kind of person, let’s kick it off with the headlines.
TL;DR
Alongside the wonderful iOS 13 update from Apple, 1Password is here and ready with a cavalcade of new features.
Dark Mode throughout, including a new Dark Mode icon.
Full support for Voice Control, a brand new assistive technology introduced in iOS 13.
Enhanced document support with the ability to add Documents from the camera, photos, Files app, and even the new document scanner in iOS 13.
Dark Mode
When Apple introduced Dark Mode on the Mac last year, we jumped at the chance to present 1Password in a whole new light (or dark, as the case may be). This year we’re turning the lights down low on 1Password for iOS as well. Once you’ve enabled the Dark appearance in the Settings app, make sure you come back to 1Password and try out our new dark app icon, configurable from Settings > General > Change App Icon.
Voice Control
One of our favorite announcements from WWDC in June was that of an all-new assistive technology that allows a person to interact naturally with their apps using just their voice. Building on our history of great accessibility, we’ve made sure that using 1Password with Voice Control is not only possible, but excellent.
Documents Galore
When it comes to our Documents feature on iOS one of the consistent pieces of feedback we’ve received has been, “when are you going to allow me to add Documents to 1Password from more than just the camera roll?” Well, my friends, the time is now. With today’s update you can add Documents to 1Password from the camera roll, directly from the camera itself, and from the Files app (which includes every app that makes its files available to the Files app, such as Dropbox and Google Drive). Additionally, if you’re on iOS 13 you can use the new document scanner to add PDF scans of your paperwork to 1Password and get optical character recognition on top of it!
Wrapping It Up
Beyond these major new features we’ve also included a tidy collection of improvements and bug fixes to boot. We hope you love this update as much as we’ve loved making it. Thank you to all our customers for your support and your feedback. I know we say it often, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

Good day, friends! Today’s update is all about bringing a little more feature parity between 1Password for Mac and 1Password for iOS. Starting today you’ll be able to access (and empty) the trash as well as organize your items better using nested tags. We’ve also added a whole new collection of stickers to our sticker pack, just for fun.
Trash
If you ever take the time to look back through the myriad release notes from 1Password updates of the past you’ll start to see a theme: us thanking you for your input and for helping us make 1Password better. This isn’t a throwaway line, it’s a guiding principle we use as we tackle new features, improvements, and bug fixes. The addition of trash in 1Password for iOS is the latest example of your feedback directly driving a change. Trash has been a feature that’s been baked into 1Password for quite some time. Up until recently, though, we haven’t distinguished between deleting an item and sending it to the trash. Starting today you can move items to the trash, bring them back, or get rid of them for good by emptying the trash.
Thank you to everyone who got in touch and let us know this feature was important to them. We really appreciate it.
Tags
When 1Password 7 for Mac was released last year we added a cool upgrade to our tags feature: nested tags. We’ve now brought full support for nested tags to iOS. Nested tags allow you to up your organization: simply type a forward slash (/) when entering a tag to break it up into nested groups. Typing A/B/C will give you tag C inside B, and B inside A.
Stickers
One of the great things about working at 1Password is getting to work alongside incredibly talented, creative folks every day. One of the great things about talented, creative folks is that they love to, well, create! When our design team came to the developers and said, “We’ve got a whole bunch of new stickers for our sticker app” we were more than happy to oblige. Fire up Messages and check out all the new characters. Invite your friends to play a game with the gamer emoji. Tell them you’re headed to the movies with the movie-goer emoji. Let them know you’re in the mood for ice cream with the double twisty cone emoji. Who says security can’t be fun?

Happy iOS 12 Day, everyone! We’ve been toiling away on some great enhancements to your favorite password manager, including a feature we’ve all been waiting for: Password AutoFill.
Your Passwords, Right in the Keyboard
With the advent of Password AutoFill your logins from 1Password now appear right in the QuickType bar of your keyboard, meaning you can fill them into websites and apps with just a tap. Simply enable 1Password in Settings app > Passwords & Accounts > AutoFill Passwords and you’ll be ready to rock. You can even create new logins with strong, unique passwords, all without having to open the main 1Password app. Not only that, if you have a 1Password membership your information will automatically be kept up to date across all your devices and computers when using Password AutoFill. It’s just wonderful.
Focus On Performance
Alongside the awesomeness of Password AutoFill, today’s update includes a huge number of performance enhancements. Everything from unlocking, to loading items, to searching should now be blazing fast - even in the presence of thousands of items across many vaults.
We’re incredibly excited about the arrival of iOS 12 and we hope you love this update as much as we do. 1Password never prompts you for a review because we value your workflow too much to interrupt it. Rich Text in Secure Notes Using Markdown
When we introduced 1Password 7 for Mac back in May we debuted a whole new way to look at your secure notes. Today, we’re happy to announce that 1Password for iOS has joined the party. You can now create gorgeous looking secure notes complete with headers, bold and italic text, lists, tappable links, and more.
1Password Stickers
If you follow us on social media or keep up to date with our blog (and why wouldn’t you?) you know that our art department is incredibly talented. We are always looking for new ways to let them stretch their creative muscles. When they came to us with a collection of stickers and asked to create a sticker app, there was no way we could refuse. You’ll find a whole collection of stickers in Messages, we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Fixes, Fixes, Everywhere
Two of the most prevalent bugs we’ve seen reported have also been fixed in this update. Searching no longer returns broken or incorrect results, and creating a new item no longer causes 1Password to become unresponsive. We had some fantastic help tracking these one down from many of you, so thank you so much.

We apologize for the back-to-back update. Rest assured 7.0.3 is the real deal. Please enjoy the following encore presentation of our original 7.0.2 release notes:
We started this week with a solid update to 1Password 7, and we decided to end the week with one as well. Turns out there were a couple more bugs that needed squashing, so we got out the tennis rackets and got to work. Thank you to everyone who reached out with feedback both positive and constructive. You can now control the number of recent items that show up on your Favorites list (including setting that number to zero). Just tap on Settings > General and look for the ‘Recently Used Items’ setting.
We fixed a pernicious issue that was particularly pervasive on iPhone X where, upon copying one value from 1Password, a different value would be pasted when switching to another app.

Welcome one and all to the greatest version of 1Password for iOS we have ever shipped. After many months of work refining new features, polishing existing ones, and generally putting everyone’s favorite password manager under the microscope, we are incredibly excited to share it with you.

The Latest and Greatest, At Home on the Latest and Greatest
When iPhone X was announced earlier this year we knew we wanted to be there, as always, on day one. Face ID is an absolute game-changer for productivity and efficiency. Simply tap to launch 1Password and Face ID instantly recognizes your face and unlocks. No waiting, no delays; just instant, secure access to your private information.
All About The Speed
When we started planning 1Password 7 we had one overarching goal in mind: take the ways people use 1Password today and make those workflows sing. The first place we did so was with our new Quick Copy feature. One of the most common uses for 1Password is to copy and paste your username and password into another app when you need to log in. With Quick Copy, 1Password knows when you’ve copied your username so that on your next trip back from pasting that username it puts your password on the clipboard for you automatically. If you’re using 1Password for your two-factor verification codes it will copy that for you on the next return as well.
Unlocking the Power Of Your Keyboard
For some of us, we’re never more productive than when our hands stay locked on the keyboard. Taking a cue from our big sibling on macOS, we’ve now brought over a bevy of beautiful keyboard shortcuts to 1Password for iOS. Searching, switching tabs, and open and filling items in the browser can now be done with the stroke of a key.
Much, Much More
Yes, we’ve brought some big ticket changes to 1Password, but many of the little things add up as well. 1Password now unlocks 33% faster and has seen a 400% increase in stability throughout. You can now select and delete multiple items at a time. Our password generator is smoother, more responsive, and easier to use. All in all these little things combine to become an update to 1Password that we’re very, very proud of.
1Password never prompts you for a review because we value your workflow too much to interrupt it. If you feel generous or have a couple of minutes, please leave a review. It makes a huge difference to us. Thank you in advance.

We could have, and we considered it, but we didn’t. You’re welcome. :)
What we did do instead was bring an incredible feature from iOS 11 on iPad and made it right at home in 1Password. Starting today you can now drag and drop information between apps on iPad. How about some extra sprinkles for that ice cream cone?
We can’t think of anything better to beat the heat than a nice cold ice-cream in the sunshine … with extra sprinkles, of course. We’d like to think of your one-time passwords as the sprinkles that complete your Login items. Now 1Password automatically copies those one-time passwords when you fill an item with the 1Password extension, saving you a step and a giving you more time to enjoy that ice cream. Yummy!
You can never have too many baskets of goodies!
Everyone needs a safe place to store the pie so that no one gets into it before dessert. Now you can create new vaults in your 1Password account on the fly and off the cuff right within 1Password itself. No more storing the cherry pie with the cheese, or the cupcakes with the croissants. No matter what your organizational structure - creating new vaults on the go has never been so easy!
You’ll always know how fresh your items are.
A great sandwich is a staple at every picnic, but a truly great sandwich is only as good as the ingredients. The same can be said for your security and an aging password is not a fresh part of your ecosystem. With this new update, you’ll always know how fresh your items are by checking the dates your items were created and edited are right there at the bottom of the item details.
Korean Language is back! Korean BBQ, anyone?

Thanks to our awesome customers we discovered an edge case in 6.7 where our update to the new version of Dropbox would fail. This is now fixed, thanks to everyone who reached out!
Fixed
Corrected a problem where customers with older versions of the Dropbox authentication token could not properly sync with Dropbox.
After our release of "1Password for Mac 6.7: The Renovation Edition", our renovation theme continues with today’s update to 1Password for iOS! Much of the work in today’s update was focused on internal stability and improvements; a deep dive into the internals of the app to shore up its foundation.
One of the biggest changes we made is one that you should actually never notice. Next month Dropbox is going to be completing a year-long project to close down its existing application programming interface - the thing that allows 1Password to sync your information via Dropbox - in favor of a brand new one. We’ve had the pleasure of working with the folks at Dropbox to make this transition as seamless as possible for you. When Dropbox turns out the lights on its old API next month 1Password will roll on as if nothing has changed.
Beyond the under-the-hood improvements we’ve added one particularly exciting feature for our 1Password account holders. The next time you set up 1Password on a new device you will be able to breeze right through setup with nothing but your Master Password. It’s an awesome and incredibly speedy way to set up 1Password; we hope you love it as much as we do!
If you need us you can find us at @1Password on Twitter. If you have questions or need support just pop on over to support.1password.com and we’ll point you in the right direction.

1Password 6.5: Fantastic Secrets and Where to Find Them: Pocket Watch Edition
As the holidays approach there is magic in the air, and we’ve managed to harness some of that magic for our latest release. We hope you have a happy, safe, secure, and magical holiday season!
TL;DR
We’re proud to present a new first-run experience that makes getting started with 1Password easier than ever.
We’ve rewritten our Apple Watch app from scratch for a native experience that supports items from any vault.
You can now easily select, move, and copy multiple items.
We now support monthly in-app purchase subscriptions for 1Password accounts.
Many, many more fixes and improvements.
Being sorted into the right house has never been so easy
Whether you’re new to 1Password or well into your fourth year, getting started with 1Password on a new device has never been easier. Newcomers are guided straight into the welcoming arms of a new 1Password account while existing students, er, customers can head straight to their respective common rooms and speak the passphrase for entry.
We’ve rewritten our first-run experience from the ground up to help you get started more quickly and easily than ever before. Need to set up a new device with your vault stored on iCloud? Simple. Looking to log into your existing 1Password account? Easy. Recommending 1Password to a friend and want to make sure they get up and running smoothly? We’ve got it covered.
We’ve brought N.E.W.T.-level magic to our Apple Watch app.
Those of us with that magical device known as Apple Watch know how handy it is to have those small spells and secret incantations kept within arm’s reach at all times. Now we can access those secrets even faster with our new Apple Watch app.
1Password for Apple Watch has been rewritten as a native app to take full advantage of the speed and security of running directly on the watch hardware. We’ve also opened the gates and you can finally add items to your Apple Watch from any vault, including 1Password account vaults!
Our latest update is teleportation spell compatible
Why apparate one item at a time when you can create a portkey and transport a whole bunch of items at once? That’s the question we asked and answered when we set about adding the ability to select multiple items in list and move or copy them to another vault. Simply pull down from the top of any item list to reveal the “Select Items…” button. Mass teleportation has never been so easy.
No need to run to Gringotts to subscribe
Subscribing to a 1Password.com individual or family account used to involve a visit to Gringotts and a terrifying minecart ride into the bowels of the earth just to set up your recurring payments. Happily we’ve decided to cut out the middle-goblin completely!
Starting today you can now pay for your 1Password account directly within 1Password using our new automatically renewing monthly in-app purchase subscription.

While all of us here at AgileBits are geeks, a good number are in that elite category of geek: gamers. What better way to show our love for digital interactive entertainment than with some gaming-themed released notes. Enjoy!
Leveled-Up Fingerprint Skills
You told us that having to enter your Master Password after a device reboot felt like getting all your powers stripped away right before the big boss fight at the end of the game. In version 6.4, after restarting your device, you will see a Touch ID button on the lock screen; tap it to immediately enable Touch ID. If you enjoyed the way things used to work, check out our new advanced security settings in Settings > Advanced > Security to tailor it to your own tastes.
Your Save Carries Over
Are you a big fan of the classics? If you’re still rocking it retro-style with 1Password 3, we have some good news: your save file from 1Password 3 carries over to 1Password 6 so you can jump right into all that the latest gen has to offer!
With the arrival of iOS 9 we discovered that many of our customers are still using 1Password 3 (thanks to all the crash reports you sent us)! We really wanted you to be able to use 1Password 6, but the path from version 3 was fraught with peril. It was like a series of fetch quests where the NPC just keeps asking you for more and more obscure items to collect.
We’ve improved this process _significantly_ in version 6.4. Now it’s more in line with some epic armor crafting where you have all the materials at your disposal. If you’ve previously tried to import your 1Password 3 information into 1Password 6 and failed, please try again. We think you’ll be pleased.
Play With Your Family, Play With Your Team
If you use 1Password exclusively with a 1Password account (Families or Teams), we have a nice little improvement for you in this version: Setting up 1Password for the first time with a 1Password account no longer creates an empty “Primary” vault. You will only see your account vaults.
While the developers were busy tinkering with the guts to eliminate that Primary vault, our designers were busy grinding to get their level up. When they dinged level 6.4, they used their new skill points to unlock this awesome piece of gear: a brand new sign-in screen for your 1Password accounts. Just tap Settings > 1Password Accounts to get started.

Thank you! Some of you let us know you were having trouble syncing to Dropbox during the initial setup process. This update should fix that issue. Thanks again, and as always, stay secure!
We love hearing from you! Get in touch with us on our discussions forum to let us know if you have any feedback!

Are you ready for the clocks to spring forward once again? It’ll be darker in the morning, but more light at night means more time for getting things done after work! Whether you’re looking forward to the time change or shaking your fist at it, we think you’ll be pleased with the latest release of 1Password for iOS before Daylight Savings Time strikes.
Save time by picking which vault is shown when you launch the app
It might take a bit of work to adjust to the time change, but it’s easy for 1Password to adjust to your preferences! If you always want to see the same vault (or All Vaults) when you launch the app, head into Settings > Vaults > Always Open To and choose your favorite vault.
Save even more time with faster (and better) Spotlight search
If you’re a Spotlight searcher, you’ll love our improvements to make it faster to find what you’re looking for. We also fixed some issues with accented characters, so if you’ve had some trouble when using more than the standard 26 english letters give it another try!
Do more with improved VoiceOver support
We’ve expanded VoiceOver support to cover some of our newer UI elements, like the vault picker button and the QR codes used for 1Password Families and Teams. Give it a listen!
We love hearing from you! Get in touch with us at discussions.agilebits.com, @1Password on Twitter, and facebook.com/1Password and tell us about how you’re going to spend your extra hour of daylight at night!

It’s time to let you in on a secret. For months, everyone at AgileBits has been hard at work on an incredible new addition to the 1Password family: 1Password Teams. With 1Password Teams, everyone gets the simple, convenient security of 1Password, and you get the tools you need to control and manage access to your most important information. Visit teams.1password.com to learn more about our awesome new product.
Not only have we baked 1Password Teams right into the very core of 1Password for iOS, we’ve also added features that bring some new shiny to the app you’ve come to love and trust! 1Password 6.1 gives you the ability to view all of your items across vaults and introduces support for 1Password Teams. Little improvements here and there to show you just how much we care.
All Vaults
When you have more than one vault, it can be really easy to forget where you’ve saved what, which can make it a bit complicated to find the item you’re looking for. Now, you can view and search all of your items in all of your vaults by using All Vaults. But what if the whole reason you created a separate vault was to keep its items out of your way? No problem! If you don’t want to include absolutely everything, go to Settings > Vaults > All Vaults and switch off the vaults you don’t want to include. And would you look at how pretty that new All Vaults icon is?! I feel like a unicorn just looking at it.
1Password Teams
If you’ve already scored a new 1Password Teams account, you’ll need a way to view those vaults on your pocket computers! To add a new account or manage an existing one, go to Settings > 1Password Teams. Welcome and enjoy!

Thanks to your feedback, you can now access Passport, Wireless Router, Drivers License, Social Security Number, and Bank Account items from your wrist. When you’re done looking at your items, lock 1Password using Force Touch.
In your favorite apps
All of this remodeling hasn’t changed one of the best things about 1Password for iOS: the ability to log in to participating apps! We recently made big improvements to our extension. Now, it’s a breeze to fill in credit card information and addresses. If your favorite apps don’t offer 1Password support, let their developers know it only takes a few minutes to join the ranks of eBay and Dropbox in making your life more secure and a little easier.

Just tap the icon in the upper left corner of the Favorites, Categories, or Organize tabs and pick the vault you’d like to switch to. We suggest you use all the time you save to celebrate with a nice cool ice cream cone (have an extra scoop for us!).
Apple Watch
For those of you using Apple Watch to help you reach your next cookout on time, a happy day has dawned - your credit card entries will now display PIN codes. We also improved the way Apple Watch displays text and sprayed a couple of pesky bugs trying to impede your fun in the sun.
Touch ID
It can be hard to use Touch ID when your fingers are covered in sunscreen. That’ll no longer be a problem when using the 1Password app extension, which will respect the lock timeouts you’ve set in the app. If you unlock 1Password using Touch ID, the main app will remember as long as you haven’t reached your lock timeout the next time you launch it.
Additionally, if you tap “Cancel” when you’re asked to provide your fingerprint to unlock your vault, you’ll have the option of bringing the Touch ID prompt back again. We call that a win!
HTTP Warning
If you try to enter your username and password on an unsecured (HTTP) site when the URL you’ve saved is for a secure (HTTPS) site, 1Password will let you know. Extra security for extra peace of mind.
We’ve also made improvements to Large Type, updated translations, and more!

Hello, true believers! This update contains a couple of important changes to our Apple Watch app that you should be aware of:
Enabling the Apple Watch setting in 1Password now requires that you have a device passcode set. If you launch 1Password 5.4.1 on a device without a passcode it will disable the Apple Watch setting.
You now have the ability to set a PIN code for use in 1Password for Apple Watch. This PIN code will be used to provide an additional level of protection for the information available on your wrist.
We hope you are one of the lucky ones receiving a shiny new Apple Watch this Friday and that you enjoy this new addition to the 1Password family. Now on to the rest of the changes in 5.4.1:
New
The 1Password extension now sends one-time passwords to third party apps, if available.
Improvements
Updated to the latest and greatest 1Password Brain for filling logins, credit cards, and identities into supported web browsers.
The keyboard is now properly dismissed in 1Password browser when the focus is on the search bar and the web page is scrolled.

Fixed a crash in the 1Password extension after tapping the “New Login” button on the authentication web view in Twitterrific.
Fixed a crash that could occur when adding a new folder to the Organize list.
Fixed a crash that could occur when deleting an item.
Fixed a crash that could occur if the connected Dropbox account had its 1Password access revoked.
1Password now remembers whether you were viewing Favorites or Categories when you close the app.

1Password 5.4 for iOS, the ’Go Go Gadget Watch!` Edition
Sometimes, it’s the little things that are really exciting. There’s not a lot of big changes in this release, but some sweet refinements to existing features (like the Message Center and 1Password’s Brain) and one lovely little addition for our Pro users: an item detail that lets you ‘Add to Apple Watch.’
Go Go Gadget Watch!
Need that security code to open your garage door, stat? Calling for emergency pizza and need to provide your credit card number? Access all those details on your wrist so you can solve crimes and save your uncle just like Penny.
If you’ve got the Pro features, enable the Apple Watch setting in 1Password and you’ll notice a handy little ’Add to Apple Watch’ option in your item’s details. Tap to make this item more accessible than ever before!
Message Center: Stealth Mode
Message Center was one of the most talked about features in our 5.3 update. Based on your feedback, we’ve refined this new feature by adding a ’Mark as Read’ button in the messages list, and an option to turn off the badge icon right from the Message Center screen. We hope you’ll love the tips and content we plan to provide here, but this option ensures that power users aren’t too distracted by the alert.
Pick Up Where You Left Off
Ever feel like you’re lost when you open up 1Password? 1Password now remembers the tab you were viewing when you left the app so you return to familiar surroundings.
We have packed a ton of bug fixes and other improvements into this version of 1Password. But if you asked us to name the Big Ones for version 5.3, we’d be remiss if we didn’t talk about the improvements to the 1Password extension and the 1Password Brain. Read on for all the juicy details!
1Password never prompts you for a review. We value your workflow too much to interrupt it. If you feel generous and have a couple of minutes, please leave a review. It makes a huge difference to us. Thank you in advance!
We love hearing from you! Get in touch with us at support@agilebits.com, @1Password on Twitter, and Facebook.com/1Password.
App Extension version Amazing Point Oh
The new 1Password App Extension now saves you 400% more time. It can create new Logins in 1Password browser, Safari, and even other apps. It can also fill Identities and Credit Cards, even in other apps.
The extension has made 1Password even more adaptable than ever. If the app you’re using doesn’t show any matching Logins, you can now select the correct Login by using the Show All Logins button.
We’ve been working closely with a number of other app developers on the improvements to our App Extension, which means you get to wait less time for more awesome.
What are we going to do today, Brain?
Did you know there is a Brain in 1Password? It’s been studying hard and is now 2,000% more accurate and fills forms 483% faster. Talk about an IQ bump! All that’s left is for us to fill out that Mensa membership application...and try to take over the world.
We need to talk
Great Scott! There is so much great stuff going on with 1Password that we added a new Message Center to keep you in the know. It brings you 1Password news and tips right in our in-app Settings. Don’t worry, Push Notifications need not apply.
Zoomier than ever
Good news, everyone: iPhone 6 Plus, Zoom Mode, and 1Password now happily play together! We fixed a bizarre situation where the lock screen animation was broken and jittery on iPhone 6 Plus. Even worse, it would sometimes cause the iOS Springboard to restart (which looked like your phone was rebooting)! Our thanks to everyone who helped us pin this one down.
Other bits and bobs
Squinting at usernames and passwords is a thing of the past, thanks to our new Large Type option. Just tap on any username or password and select Large Type from the popup. We’ve also improved our Dynamic Type support to make 1Password bigger and friendlier for everyone!
Tags now pop a bit more because we display them in these fancy little bubbles. (Get it? Bubbles? Pop? We’ll see ourselves out….)
You might switch time zones, or even cross the International Date Line. The dates in 1Password will stay steadfast, though.
Attached to your attachments? We’ve fixed an issue where sometimes attachments could not be read on some devices.
One-time passwords now appear in two groups and are separated by a faded bullet to make them easier to read.
If you need to search using Asian language characters, it’ll work!
So many more bug and crash fixes. Check out app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPI5 for the full changelog.
